Privacy Policy

Effective date: May 25, 2026

MyStory is a personal photo-journal app. Your privacy is the default, not a setting.

What we collect

Nothing. MyStory does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal data. It has no user accounts, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, and no third-party SDKs.

Where your data lives

Everything you create — photos, captions, and your weekly check-in answers — is stored only on your device, inside the app's private App Group container. It is never uploaded to any server. The app makes no network connections.

Camera

MyStory asks for camera access for one purpose: to let you take a photo to add to your story. Photos are saved on your device and never leave it. If you deny access, the rest of the app keeps working.

Notifications

MyStory may schedule a local weekly notification (a Sunday check-in). It is generated on your device; nothing is sent over the network.

Data deletion

Deleting a photo in the app removes it from your device. Deleting the app removes all of its data.

Children

MyStory does not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new effective date.
